With over 40 years of experience in the television industry, Sal Sparace is a distinguished Technical Director for SKY UK. He’s known for his technical excellence, innovative storytelling, and leadership in live broadcast environments.

Born in Italy in 1965, Sal began his UK television career in London in 1988. Over the decades, he has played pivotal roles in major UK productions, such as Channel Five’s Family Affairs and Channel 4’s RI:SE.

Beyond his broadcast work, Sal is passionate about community-driven initiatives and supporting young talent through programs like MamaYouth. He is delighted to be part of the Think Ocean initiative, reflecting his dedication to both media and environmental conservation. Sal is also pioneering new television channels on Amazon TV, in partnership with Mila Walenda.
