Empowerment

As much as our work focuses on protecting the planet, we know that we cannot do this without also considering the needs of vulnerable communities. For this reason we also engage in a number of empowerment focused initiatives. Amongst these are training and education programmes for employability of at-risk women, projects that allow for children to benefit from cleanups by exchanging their waste for school fees, initiatives that allow for the exchange of waste plastic for sanitary pads and also nappies.
