• Why are you so passionate about helping to protect our precious planet?
It’s my purpose in life. After years of analysing my values and way of being I realised we have a massive power in the UK financial industry with at least £1tn to influence. Deploying this can be the biggest and most effective levers we can pull to instigate and support change.

• How do you champion sustainability?
We bring the concept of “impact investment” to a wider audience. It’s not an obvious consumer choice but once you ask people “are you happy with your pension killing the planet or would you rather use it to save the planet?” they don’t have to think for very long!

• A little about how you are educating people on how they can help the planet by investing in UN SDG-aligned businesses
Our whole investment management strategy uses the UN SDGs as a benchmark for how “green” or ethical someone’s investments are. We typically increase their SDG alignment from around 30% to over 85%. We show then a powerful infographic and it’s an easy way to explain positive-impact investment.

• And maybe a bit about your favourite beach and why it's so important to keep our coastlines litter free
Pett Level Beach in east Sussex. I live on top of the cliff in a village called Fairlight. It overlooks the sea at Pett Level. It’s where I got the idea of setting up Path Financial as I was walking on the beach with my dog thinking about where I could invest money for a positive impact! I see the pollution every time I walk there and it’s so sad.
